Making Soup 13th October 2016 – 4th & 5th class – photos and students recipes
Each class has a vegetable patch of their own. They are situated near the old gate exit. Every season we plant suitable vegetables for the seasons. Every two weeks each class go outside and see what plants have grown and not grown. If the plants die we pull them up and plant new ones. This is a great activity for the younger classes especially and it is lots of fun learning about different plants.

In May 2010, our new green flag went up. It took a lot of time and organisation. Julie Feeney came up to the school on the day and she rose the flag. She sung her best song called ‘Impossibly Beautiful’, she signed autographs and posed for the camera. We were honoured to have someone so famous visit our school, and we’d be delighted to meet her again. It was a special day.
